FOL’s activities are up and going. Our NOON program has begun with great speakers and a terrific response from the community. We look forward to November programs on the Hawver Caves and Storytelling, and December’s Music for the Season with the St. Joseph children’s choir.
Our Reading in the Classroom program, under the leadership of Linda LoBue, sent many of you Friends to over 50 classrooms sharing your love of books with Auburn’s school children. Thank you for saying “yes” to this important outreach to our children. They love having you come!
It’s not too early to SAVE THE DATE! Sunday, January 29, 2012 is our Annual “We Love Our Library” dinner. This is always fun, delicious, and a great way to support our library. We’ll have a Silent Auction so be ready to find lots of treasurers.
Our monthly FOL Board meetings are open to the public. The next meeting is Monday, November 14, at 9:30 AM in the Beecher Room. Please feel free to attend.
