EDIBLE LANDSCAPING 417Since the first Earth Day in 1970 educating citizens about the environment has become an international movement. Just in time for Earth Day 2017 the Friends of Auburn Library NOON Program present a speaker on Friday, April 21, who utilizes the patterns of natural landscapes on her Newcastle family farm in Newcastle. Kathryn MacRoberts, a Placer County Master Gardner and owner of Laughing Duck Farm, will present “Eat the Landscape” in the Beecher Room of the Auburn Library starting at noon. MacRoberts will talk about using edible plants in the home landscape and teach attendees about edible weeds found in nature. For more info: taleteller2@gmail.com
