Local Artist Pastels on Display in January and February 2018

All Placer County Library locations will remain closed until further notice (including the Auburn Library Annex... please hold your donations until we have opened again). Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Local artist LouCinda Laughlin is featured in the Beecher Room in the Auburn Library.

She is a pastel painter and has 18 original pastels and prints on display from her private collection of her impressionist work.

The art shown in the Beecher Room includes a wide range of subject matter – cats, people, birds, European villages, iconic settings, and local images.  Laughlin’s impressionistic pastels will be on display during January and February.  A broader range of her work can also be seen at Tango Frozen Yogurt in downtown Auburn.
