Important Update Auburn Placer County Libraries

All placer County Library locations will be closed starting Tuesday, March 17 and will remain closed until further notice.  That also holds true for the Auburn Library Annex. We will not be manning it at this time and ask that you hold on to your donations until we have opened again. We are grateful for the quick action on the part of Placer County to be mindful of the health and safety of our staff and volunteers. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Our speaker is Jim Crosthwaite, Executive Director Arts Council of Placer County (ACPC).

Jim is a graduate of Placer High School and retired after a combined 30 years with Cities of Roseville and Rocklin.
He will provide new and exiting news of what all has been happening under his one year watch over the county arts non-profit organization.

The community grant program has 2 funding cycles during the year.  It is  a great way to help artists and arts organizations within the county.  The range of monies disbursed to those who qualify is anywhere from $500 to $5,000.  Many arts related programs are presented by ACPC during the year.  The highlight at this time of the year is the FREE annual Placer Artists Studios Tour.  The Placer County Board of Supervisors presented a  Commendation to ACPC in honor of the 25th anniversary of the annual tour, which is free to the public.  The self guided Tour dates are Nov. 9-11, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
