Outing to the De Young Museum

The Musée d'Orsay in Paris will be closed for two years and the de Young Museum in San Francisco is the only museum in the world that will have two consecutive exhibits from the permanent exhibit of the Musée d'Orsay.

Friends of Auburn Library is hosting a trip to the de Young on June 16th to see the first exhibit, Birth of Impressionism: Masterpieces from the Musée d’Orsay.

The bus will leave at 8:30am from the parking lot behind Raley's at 13384 Lincoln Way in Auburn.  Arrangements for pickup in Loomis is available - ask Peggy about this.

The estimated time of return is 5:30pm.
