What is Great Books?

Until further notice the Used Book Sales and Donations, Noon Programs and Art in the Beecher Room are on hiatus.  When these programs are ready to resume we will post the new schedules on this website.

Great Books is a discussion group which meets at the library in the Beecher Room on the second Tuesday from 1-3 PM. We are currently reading the book “Double Features – Big Ideas in Film” published by the Great Books Foundation. We also bring books we are reading to share with the others.

We are also sponsoring a mini-retreat on May 19 in Auburn. Our book is “The Glass Castle” by Jeannette Walls. We will also watch the movie. Lunch is included for $25. If interested, please contact Donna Reynolds at pianogaldonna@gmail.com.

All are welcome. Please call Walt Wilson for more info, 530-863-8224.
